Pearl Book
This informational book about pearls aims to educate the reader while retaining a certain captivating visual identity, allowing the book to serve multiple functions as not only a tool for learning, but as a coffee table book as well, acting as an art piece in a room. Elements such as grid strucure, typography, stylized imagery and infographics were created and utilized in order to achieve this aesthetic goal. The chapters entitled “Pearl Luster”, “Maximalist Pearls”, “Pearls as a Birthstone”, “Sourcing and Aquiring Pearls”, and “The Formation of a Pearl” were chosen in order to give an overview on all facets of pearls and how they function in society.
