Wine Label

This wine label aimed to retain a traditional and rustic feel while still standing out on the shelves. In order to achieve this, the typography was kept in a script style, making everythign feel handwritten yet, professional. The color scheme utilized creams and browns, in order to resemble aged paper and wood, again emphasizing the age of the wine. A thick paper with ripped edges was chosen in order to connotate quality, and a certain rustic, handmasde feel to the consumer. To further distinguish the bottle, a hand-drawn and scanned depiction of a wine press was added to the front. Combined with the background texture, and texture naturally given by the paper itself, this has the effect of this bottle being handmade, and lets the consumer know that the wine was made with craftsmanship and care, communicating that this wine is thoughtfully made, and distinct from others on the market.
